Are you interested in pouring over old documents and tracking down lost photos? Then maybe we have a job for you...

The Yokohama Theatre Group is more than 106 years old. During that time, many of our documents have been lost in natural disasters, war, and accidental fires. However, many of our documents, particularly from the post-war period, remain. We need someone interested in pouring through these and writing some company history-related pieces for this website

For a company as old as we are, we have a rather tenuous hold on our past, particularly in the form of a visual record. Due to the amateur nature of the Group, and the fact that there was no central authority overseeing the documenting of shows, most of the photographs taken were for personal remembrances, and therefore have disappeared as the photographers have migrated away from Yokohama. We need someone interested in tracking down old members and the families of former members and obtaining copies of these photos.

To ensure that we have records for future generations of YTG members, we also need someone who is interested in making sure that all of our current shows and events are documented properly; both on paper, and visually.

If you are interested in any of these activities, or all three, please use the contact form on your left to let us know. There's no reason to wait!
